Tracking down Notorious Marks on the Hunt Board in Final Fantasy 16 is one of the best ways to earn valuable crafting materials, Gil, and Renown. Among these targets, The Ten of Clubs presents an engaging challenge for players exploring the desert territory of Dhalmekia. Understanding where to find this elusive outlaw and how to counter his heavy attacks ensures a quick and rewarding victory.
Unlocking the Ten of Clubs Bounty
Before you can locate this target, you must progress through the main story until you unlock the Hunt Board at the Hideaway. The bounty post for The Ten of Clubs officially appears after completing the main quest titled Fire in the Sky. Once unlocked, Nektar the Moogle will list this Level 35, Rank B enemy on the board.
Where to Find The Ten of Clubs Location
The Ten of Clubs is hiding within the Dhalmekian Republic in the ruins of a small village called Vamare. To reach this area quickly, fast travel to The Jaw obelisk and travel north into the expansive Fields of Corava. You will discover the boss standing near the abandoned wooden structures in the southeastern corner of the map.
Combat Tactics and How to Beat the Boss
This heavy axe-wielding enemy hits hard but moves relatively slowly throughout the encounter. Watch out for his long-range ground attack, Peine Forte, and step aside before the magical shockwave connects. Keeping your distance with ranged abilities like Ramuh's lightning spells allows you to safely build up his stagger meter.
When his health drops to half, he becomes far more aggressive and executes a dangerous four-hit combo called Execution. Dodge backwards or time your precision dodges carefully to avoid the devastating final leaping strike. Once staggered, unleash your highest damage Eikonic abilities to finish off his remaining health bar.
Rewards for Defeating The Ten of Clubs
Felling this dangerous outlaw grants Clive significant rewards for his journey across Valisthea. You will be rewarded with 20 Renown and 9,200 Gil upon completing the hunt. In addition, defeating him yields rare crafting materials including one piece of Scarletite and one Meteorite.
